The Adventures of Madeleine

We took a little trip to a really cool park the a few weeks and we all had a great time. Madeleine went down her first slide, among other things. She loves being outside.

Madeleine and daddy spent some time playing at the keyboard the other day. I personally think that getting to wear the headphones was what she really liked, and that the music was just a bonus....but she had a blast.

I told Madeleine the other day that we were going to do errands, and that we'd need to get dressed and then get our coats. Apparently, she only heard the "get coats" part, LOL!! The funny thing lately is that whenever she wants to go anywhere she gets her coat, brings it to us and takes us to the door. If we don't go anywhere, she repeats this process until we do go somewhere....she's not easily distracted.

This child is obsessed with shoes. Her shoes, mom's shoes, dad's shoes.....well pretty much any shoe. On her feet or on her hands....it doesn't matter, as long as she has a shoe. Here she is with a pair of mommy's shoes.

We enjoyed a visit from our friends Karen and Thom this weekend. Madeleine loved having new people to dote on her, but I think the favorite part for her was Thom's shoes. His shoes were often found in new places, or on Madeleine's little feet.
