A girl always needs a purse, or two....

Climbing Ladders
By Kate on Dec 7, 2008 | In Just Hanging Out
We've got a climber on our hands. Once Madeleine saw that Josh was climbing the ladder, she had to get into the act too....and she's a quick little bugger!!

Daddy's Little Helper
By Kate on Nov 16, 2008 | In Just Hanging Out
I really wanted to help my Daddy work on our railings since he's been doing all this work so it will be safe for me, but he said a lot of the equipment wasn't safe for toddlers. So instead he let me climb my first ladder....I've got a cool daddy!

Fall Fun
By Kate on Nov 13, 2008 | In Just Hanging Out
Madeleine and Daddy spent time this week playing outside in the leaves and had quite a grand time, and lots of laughing. Here are some highlights...

First Election Day
By Kate on Nov 4, 2008 | In Outings & Adventures
Madeleine experienced her first election day.....and what a historic one at that! She joined Mom and Dad at the polls, but was actually more excited to roam the polling place rather than take part in the voting process, LOL! Here are a few pictures....I managed to catch Josh unawares each time, oops!

Our visit to Indiana
By Kate on Nov 2, 2008 | In Family, Outings & Adventures
Madeleine and I road-tripped to Indiana recently while Josh worked very hard installing our new child-safe railings. Little M was such a trooper, she traveled very well....which I was thankful for since I was the only grown up with her on the road!!
She was a great hit and we had a great time. Milestones that Madeleine saved for while we were at grandma and grandpa's included her third word, "ni-ni" (night-night) and shaking her head for "no".
Hanging out with cousin Kalee.

Holding her first dolly, an early Christmas gift from the Miller's. Grandpa is putting together her other gift from them, a rocker/stroller/tri-cycle.

Showing her personality to Aunt Debbie.

Finishing her morning bottle while hanging out with Grandma.

Grandpa, you can hold me but I can't promise that I won't try to escape!
